Tēnā koutou. Welcome to the YAPI website. It all started when I moved to Atlanta and was looking for a job. The pace of recruiting in Atlanta is a lot slower and a lot more complicated than what I am used to. Before I moved to Atlanta I lived in another country where things work differently. A company would arrange for an on-site interview with the potential employee with the team manager (usually skipping phone interviews altogether), and if the potential employee was very good, the other managers would meet with him immediately afterwards (if possible) and sometimes by the end of the day a contract would be signed and there would be a new employee in the company. The YAPI system used in Atlanta may cause some companies to "lose" these good employees because by the time they finish with this drawn-out process, another company will have "grabbed" this employee. Therefore, YAPI companies will probably get the mediocre employees that no one else wants. If your company is a YAPI company, you should tell them to peek at this site... Enjoy life! Donny. Look at the "links" page for more interview information. |
